December is here, the first snow has fallen. The days are getting shorter and shorter... along with this, our biorhythms and moods also change. It is difficult to stay conscious and resist the darkness, cold, and bad mood. I would like to share with you what I pay more attention to at this time.
I start my morning with a cup of tea. This can actually be any tea that my mood and situation require. In such cases, however, thyme, yarrow, lungwort, and spear plantain appear more often, and honey also sells better. I feel great importance that the first stimulus to my stomach is a bouquet of flowers with water. I often make my tea in the evening, so that in the morning everything is soaked in exactly the way it transmits the power of the sun on the fullest spectrum.
There are plenty of beets, onions, sweet potatoes, and carrots from the garden. This is when I have the season for cream soups, which I turn into an extra immune booster by using ginger, garlic, rosemary, and parsley.
If you do get a cold or a respiratory illness, horseradish root is real first aid for me. It's so simple and wonderful when I use horseradish for my incipient respiratory problems. I highly recommend everyone to get to know horseradish, because it is a real miracle! I would also like to mention the black radish, which is available for pennies at this time, and its effect also supports the immune system.
You must also consciously strive to protect your limbs, regular warm socks, knee socks, gloves in the given situation. Dress carefully and in layers and avoid closed public places.
The lack of light also has a serious effect on our mood. It's not even worth keeping yourself busy until the solstice, no matter how demanding the Christmas rush may be. We are simply going into the dark now, sleeping more, doing less of whatever. There is not much left, and in January we are rightly waiting for spring again, and we can prepare for the more active period.
Finally, what is really important is the individual continuous development and optimization of the above prevention strategies for yourself. Be careful with yourself, and your body and soul will thank you!
